A limited release from Deanston Distillery, this expression was distilled in 1997 and released as a 21 year old single malt whisky.
Notes from the bottle:
Colour: Amber Gold.
Nose: Honey, dried fruit, citrus and floral notes with a deep underlying mix of sweet maltiness and rich oak toffee.
Palate: Luxuriously smooth caramel and rich oak, blended with honey dried apricots, prunes and figs with a warming hint of gentle spice.
Finish: A satisfying clean and dry oaky sweetness alive with honeyed fruits and gingerbread.
Bottled, non-chill filtered with no added colour at a natural cask strength of 51.8%Vol.
