Selected by Hannah Whisky Merchants for their "Lady of the Glen" series of limited-edition expressions.
Distilled on 17th May 2005, matured in an ex-Bourbon cask and finished for 13 months in an Amontillado barrel from Josafer Tanoaria.
One of 251 bottles, bottled on 3rd June 2020, non-chill filtered and at natural colour, at 55.7% alc/vol.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Deep and rich with notes of leather armchair, autumnal fruit, amaretto and brewing coffee.
Palate: Maraschino cherries and chocolate caramels with an orange bitters and honey character.
Finish: Apple sauce developing into orange peel with oak tannins and treacle toffee.
